Salvation Helmet

Since February 24, 2022, volunteers from the NGO "Salvation Helmet" have been providing humanitarian aid to residents of Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region in need. Our efforts include: feeding homeless and vulnerable individuals, evacuating people with limited mobility, distributing food, clothing, footwear, and hygiene products

Our Mission: We are committed to helping those in need!

The NGO "Salvation Helmet" offers charitable assistance to those who have lost their homes and livelihoods due to the war, ensuring safe living conditions at the Temporary Accommodation Center for IDPs and facilitating their integration into society. We also provide: hot meals for those in need, evacuation from dangerous areas in the Kharkiv region, delivery of humanitarian aid to war-affected communities

IMPLEMENTED PROGECTS

The public organization Salvation Helmet implements aid programs for various categories of the population, including support for internally displaced persons, humanitarian assistance, social and educational initiatives, and more.

Life in Your Hands

The activities of the center for the accommodation of citizens who were forced to leave their homes due to military actions in the Kharkiv region

The Strength of Our Hometown

Providing food packages and hot meals to pensioners, people with disabilities, and internally displaced persons in the city of Kharkiv

Rebuilding with Hope

This project aimed at restoring residential buildings in the village of Ruska Lozova, Derhachi District, that were damaged as a result of military actions

A Helping Hand

Support and development of the team, access to psychological services, organization of training sessions on emergency preparedness, first aid, and psychological assistance

Warming Hearts

Thanks to the initiatives of women volunteers, we create warm and comfortable conditions for temporarily displaced persons, helping them adapt more quickly to new circumstances

Shoes for Life

The project for the integration of internally displaced persons into society through a training center for shoe production, created to support people affected by the hostilities in Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region

NEWS

Members of Salvation Helmet actively participate in events aimed at raising awareness and developing skills in social justice, human rights protection, and the safety of vulnerable groups.

First Aid Training

This event aims to improve citizens' preparedness for emergencies and enhance medical awareness among the population.

Participation in the Training "Key Concepts of Gender-Based Violence Prevention"

The goal of the training is to learn how to recognize violence and effectively assist those who have experienced gender-based violence.

Participation in the Trainings "Gender Equality and Social Inclusion" and "Protection and Safety"

The objective of the training is to raise awareness about the importance of ensuring equal rights and opportunities for all people, regardless of gender, age, race, ethnicity, or social status. Additionally, it aims to teach participants how to identify and respond to situations that may pose a threat to the safety and well-being of vulnerable groups facing difficult life circumstances.
