REBUILDING WITH HOPE

This project has become an important step toward the restoration of housing in the Derhachi district and the improvement of the quality of life for people affected by the conflict. Thanks to the support of HELVETAS Swiss Solidarity, timely assistance was provided, ensuring the stabilization of living conditions for many families.

The following results have been achieved through the implementation of the project:

Windows were installed in houses, reducing heat loss, protecting homes from weather conditions, and increasing safety.
Repaired roofs prevented further destruction of buildings, ensuring comfortable living conditions for residents.
Housing was restored for families who suffered significant material losses due to the hostilities.

IMPLEMENTED PROGECTS

The public organization Salvation Helmet implements aid programs for various categories of the population, including support for internally displaced persons, humanitarian assistance, social and educational initiatives, and more.

The activities of the center for the accommodation of citizens who were forced to leave their homes due to military actions in the Kharkiv region

The Strength of Our Hometown

Providing food packages and hot meals to pensioners, people with disabilities, and internally displaced persons in the city of Kharkiv

A Helping Hand

Support and development of the team, access to psychological services, organization of training sessions on emergency preparedness, first aid, and psychological assistance

Warming Hearts

Thanks to the initiatives of women volunteers, we create warm and comfortable conditions for temporarily displaced persons, helping them adapt more quickly to new circumstances

Shoes for Life

The project for the integration of internally displaced persons into society through a training center for shoe production, created to support people affected by the hostilities in Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region
